Format

The Climate Change Days will provide an interactive experience, allowing staff from FAO Headquarters, decentralized offices and field projects, as well as key persons from other agencies to:

• share and learn from each others good practices in climate change projects, including documentation of tacit knowledge
• create informal networks between people working on similar issues related to climate change across FAO (in particular in the decentralized offices)
• increase awareness and build capacities of FAO staff to effectively implement climate change projects and programmes in the field
• explore ways to linkages between FAO’s normative work and field activities

The Climate Change Days will showcase examples of climate change field projects focusing on lessons learned, challenges and knowledge sharing strategies. Furthermore, training sessions on particularly relevant climate change topics (including hands-on training on tools) will be offered.
